The IDEAL 5255 Electric Guillotine is a professional guillotine with a cutting length of 520mm and cutting height of 80mm.It cuts up to 800 sheets at 80gsm.

It has a touch pad and digital display for easy setting of cuts and multilingual operator guidance. It has 99 programs with 99 steps in each program (up to 15 repeat cuts can be integrated into a program as one single program step). The measurement readout can be displayed in cm or inches (display accurate to 1/10 mm or 1/100 inch). The program runs automatically and has a 10-button key pad for presetting of measurements, Integrated calculator, Pre-programmed measurements for standard paper sizes,  Programmable keys for quick setting of frequently needed measurements & Memory key for repeat cuts.

Detailed Description

The Ideal 5255 is designed for optimal performance at the popular 52 cm B3 format. The full range of programmable functions offer maximum productivity while Ideal has not ignored the need for safety aspects, which are delivered through the Ideal Safety Cutting System (SCS). The programmable keypad stores the settings for 99 jobs and can recall previous job sequences using a memory key.  A self diagnosis fault finding system will keep downtime to a minimum.
 
The Programmable keypad shows cut accuracy to 0.1 mm on a digital display and takes a memory key to store the settings for repeat jobs. An eject function pushes paper forwards to allow operators to easily remove cut stacks without approaching the blade. The clamp has guides on both sides to ensure an even distribution of clamping pressure. The transparent hood electronically locks down during the cutting process and swings away for ease of loading and unloading. The electric back gauge wheel controls the pace of back gauge movement while offering finesse to the positioning of the back gauge for absolute precise control and to line up the cut position accurately with the Red LED cutting line.
