Water Diversion System | Spill Control Diversion System
The Spill Control Diversion System is an automated solution designed to detect and divert contaminated runoff, ensuring only clean stormwater is discharged from high-risk industrial sites.
Description
Automatically detects and diverts contaminated runoff to prevent environmental breaches.
Automated spill control diversion systems are engineered to protect stormwater infrastructure by automatically detecting spills, such as oil or chemical leaks, and diverting contaminated runoff away from drains, preventing environmental breaches. The system provides 24/7 monitoring and response suitable for industrial sites with high environmental compliance requirements.
System Options
SCS600 – Hydrocarbon Spill Control System: Detects free-floating hydrocarbons (fuel/oil), diverts contaminated runoff, operates during rain, and screens gross pollutants.
CMS600 – Constant Monitoring System: Detects water-soluble contaminants, diverts runoff until water quality is safe to discharge, sensor-based system, with gross pollutant screening.
Features & Benefits
Automatically detects spills (hydrocarbons or water-soluble contaminants) and diverts polluted water
Fully automated and provides after-hours spill detection
Continuous monitoring of site runoff during rain events
Integrated 50-litre silt basket for gross pollutant screening
Protects against accidental environmental breaches
Alerts can be sent via SMS for instant notification
Suitable for both new and retrofit installations
Applications
Sites storing/handling fuel, oil or chemicals
Washdown or refuelling areas draining to stormwater
Runoff enters the diversion pit during rain events
Sensors continuously monitor water quality
If contamination is detected, a diversion valve activates
Polluted water is diverted to a containment system
Clean stormwater is allowed to discharge as normal
